The app

Chanzap stores your playlists, TV guide, favorites and settings only on your own computer. Passwords for Xtream logins are encrypted with Windows' own data protection, tied to your Windows account. The app does not send your playlists, logins or viewing history to us. It connects only to the servers you add (your provider) and to the logo and guide links in your playlists.

This website

Beta signup. If you join the beta list, we store your email address and the date you signed up. We use it only to tell you about the Chanzap beta and launch. We do not sell or share it. To be removed, email hello@chanzap.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Hosting. The site, its domain names and the beta list are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and acts as our data processor under its data processing agreement, which includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers to the USA.

No tracking. We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from bots.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, and you can complain to your data protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet). Contact: hello@chanzap.com.
