Chanzap is a media player. It does not include, provide, sell, host or link to any TV channels, playlists, streams or IPTV services, and it has no relationship with any IPTV provider. Users add content themselves and are responsible for having the right to use it. Chanzap does not endorse or recommend any provider.

Copyright complaints

Chanzap does not host content, so it cannot remove streams from a provider. If you believe this website itself infringes your rights, email hello@chanzap.com and we will respond promptly.

Trademarks

Windows and Microsoft Store are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. VLC is a trademark of VideoLAN. Kodi is a trademark of the XBMC Foundation. They are mentioned only to describe compatibility and alternatives; Chanzap is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Open-source software

Chanzap is built with open-source software, including:

• mpv / libmpv, licensed under the GNU LGPL version 2.1 or later (built without GPL components).
• FFmpeg, licensed under the GNU LGPL version 3 (built with --disable-gpl and --disable-nonfree).
• media_kit (MIT), Flutter (BSD-3-Clause) and other packages listed in the app under Settings → About → Licenses.

The LGPL libraries are included as separate, unmodified libraries that you can replace. Their source code is available from the mpv, FFmpeg and media_kit projects.
